What a standard-size pattern doesn’t tell you.

It sells you a size and leaves you the work of fitting it to your body.

Standard-size pattern Your Kokïn pattern
Who it’s for An average body that isn’t anyone’s. You: it’s drafted with your measurements.
The size You’re between two sizes and pick one. No size: the measurements are yours.
Stretch fabrics It doesn’t know how much your fabric stretches. It takes into account how much your fabric stretches.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to know pattern making?

No. You enter your measurements and the pattern drafts itself. You just sew, and the instructions guide you step by step.

Which fabrics work?

Stretch knits: lycra, cotton jersey, ponte… Before drafting you measure how much yours stretches with a tape measure, and the pattern takes it into account.

Do I need a special printer?

No. Any home A4 printer. The pattern is laid out for regular A4 sheets.

How do I know it prints to scale?

Every pattern includes a test square. Measure it with a ruler before cutting: if it measures what it says, you printed at 100%.

Does the pattern include seam allowances?

Yes. They’re included and marked, and you know how wide each one is. If you’d rather draft without them —to cut on the line or add them yourself— you can switch them off before downloading.

Which sizes does it cover?

There are no sizes. It uses your measurements, whatever they are.

Can I sew for other people?

Yes. Save a measurement profile per person and draft for any of them.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. From your account, in one click, no commitment. Patterns you’ve downloaded stay yours.
